Paper curl issue when using the Folding Paper Transport as the output bin

Issue description

A paper curl issue occurs when using the Folding paper transport as the output bin.

This particular issue is observed with the following printer setup and configuration:

• The combination of the Folding Paper Transport unit and 2250-sheet Booklet Staple Hole Punch Finisher is installed on the printer.

Note:  The paper curl issue does not occur when the 1250-sheet Staple Hole Punch Finisher is installed.

• Printing paper that is set to longer sizes such as:
• Legal
• Folio
• Officio
• JIS B4
• A3
• SRA3
• LD
• SLD

Solution

This issue only occurs when printing paper that has longer sizes.

The Folding Paper Transport output bin and 2250-sheet Booklet Staple Hole Punch Finisher combination can only feed smaller paper sizes such as Letter and A4.

To avoid getting paper curls with this setup and configuration, change the output bin to exit in the Finisher instead of the Paper Transport.
