Driver: ICA Scan Driver
Operating System: mac OS 10.12 (Sierra)
When performing a Network Scan on any of the printer models stated above with your mac OS 10.12 (Sierra), only an AirScan user interface (generic UI) will appear and the Lexmark features will be missing.
Since these multifunction printers support AirScan, the Mac OS will bypass the custom ICA Scan Driver and the scan will happen via AirScan.
Scan UI from Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan)
Scan UI from mac OS 10.12 (Sierra)
Scanning using the customer ICA driver is still possible via USB path. You may opt to connect the multifunction printer to the computer via USB cable and perform the scan.
This issue has already been reported to Apple as of this writing. Apple’s engineering team is investigating the issue. However, Apple has not provided any target when the solution will be provided.
