Solution: Lexmark Document Distributor
Lexmark Document Distributor (LDD) Script with scan preview hangs your device when executed from any of the following Lexmark printer models that may not have a hard disk: CX725, CX820, CX825, CX860, XC4150, XC6152, XC8155, XC8160.
LDD scripts may be written to include a scan preview when doing scan-related jobs using any of the printer models mentioned in this document’s ‘Overview’ section.
This feature requires that the printer have a hard disk drive (HDD) installed. However, this function is still visible on these devices even without the hard-disk since LDD does not have a way of telling whether a hard-disk is present or not.
This results in the scan job freezing during the process, and the device may need to be restarted in order to bring it back to ready mode.
This is an issue with these printer models running with firmware prior to version xx.031.101. To correct this, update the firmware to version 031.101 or newer. Seexref_HO550_xref
