Lexmark Embedded Document Accounting Solution: 'out of memory' error appears when releasing print jobs or scanning and USB printing

Issue description

Upon releasing large or numerous print jobs and printing from a thumb drive, you will observe the following when the Lexmark Embedded Document Accounting Solution (eDAS) is installed on the device:

  • A 'Memory Full' message displays on the printer.
  • Other scan-to functions fail to work.
  • A 'Busy Please Wait' message displays on the printer when attempting to perform other scan-to functions.


The latest version of eDAS addresses a memory leak when printing large jobs (release all) and reserves more native memory for held jobs.

Updating eDAS to version will fix the issue.

Download the eDAS v104.1.5.11 and update app to rectify the issue.

Note:  This version also fixes any PAM issues.
