Multi-feed or Jams Occur Using Stress Media on the ADF

What you will see

A higher expected rate of multi-feed or jams happens when using stress media (such as graph paper, carbonless, magazine paper, etc.) in scanning/copying through the automatic document feeder (ADF).

NOTE: Media with a high cotton content can drive more feed issues.

Solution

Step 1: Change the setting to slow the scanner speed.

Step 2: Use the flatbed scanner when scanning or copying stress media.
