No pick issue from tray 1 or top edge paper damage

Issue description

• Paper is not being picked from Tray 1.
• Paper is damaged at the top edge portion of the page if successfully picked from Tray 1.

Solution

1. Remove the tray.



2. Flex, fan, and align the paper edges before loading.



3. Perform a test print and check if the paper is picked from Tray 1 or if there is any damage on the top edge of the paper.



4. If the issue persists, make sure to adjust side guides and rear restraints to the proper paper size indicators.

   Note:  For paper sizes that are not included in listed in the tray guides, load the paper first then adjust side guides and rear restraints accordingly. Make sure that both side guides and rear restraint are not tight on the paper stack.
