What you will see
Due to a password change, you are no longer able to access the WebUI (pWeb).
Remedy: Resetting 'printerrx' password
To change the password of printerrx web user back to default = Manager:
Access LFT2 server and open a command prompt.
Type sqlplus PrinterRx/Manager.
Type the following commands one line at a time, as shown here:
- update pweb_users set userpass = 'JY!f#O#E!8!9g!#\i!^w!|!RF!jq!#=' where username = 'PrinterRx';
- commit;
Restart pservices.
To do this:
a. Make sure that you're in the "C:\Lexmark\Lexmark_LFT>" b. To stop type, pservices -stop c. To start type, pservices -start
NOTES:
- pservices should remain running while performing this procedure; however, restarting this service afterwards is good practice.
- This procedure is not viable for the database user.
