Overview:

Here are the two versions of this MS Windows application software:

Reference

Using the Application GUI Version:

The Select’N’Send application software graphical user interface (GUI) version allows users to access a selection of LDD profiles, and submit various document types to the LDD system. The selected files are submitted to the system in their current formats. Each solution script determines which file types are acceptable.

Note:

For more information about the solution script, contact the developer of your solution.

Follow these steps in submitting a document to the LDD systems:

1.

Launch the Select’N’Send application software GUI version using any of the following steps:

  • From Windows Explorer, right-click on the file you want to submit to LDD and then select Send To > Lexmark Document Distributor Enterprise to submit the file.
  • In the command line, type sendserventfilename (the file that you want to submit to LDD), and then press Enter.
  • Note:
  • The Select'N'Send program folder is added to the system path during installation so that the software can be accessed from any folder at the command line.
  • Drag the file that you want to submit to LDD into the sendservent.exe file or to a shortcut pointing to that file.

2.

In the Lexmark Select'N'Send window, select a Lexmark Document Server.

Note: If the client software is newly installed, you will notice an empty list on the Document Server. These steps will guide you how to add a server:

  • Click Setup on the Lexmark Select'N'Send window.
  • In the Server Setup window, click Add.
  • Type the fully qualified domain name or IP address of the server, and then click OK.
  • Click OK to exit the Server Setup dialog.
  • If necessary, select the new server from the list.

3.

Select a profile from the Server Profiles list, and then click OK.
