Overview
What is Sleep-Print-Sleep?
A Sleep-Print-Sleep function allows you to send a print job to a printer that is in Sleep mode, (enabled for power conservation). This printer function will print the job but will not wake the printer up; the printer display screen remains off, as well, and after printing the job, the printer goes back to Sleep mode.
Sleep-Print-Sleep Availability
Beginning in April 2016, printers (MS71x/81x & MX71x/81x) shipped from the factory and from Customization Centers may have the EC6 (P630) and above firmware. Hence, if you had bought your printer prior to the April date, you may check the printer's firmware and update it to get the Sleep-Print-Sleep function.
Note: You may download the latest firmware from our website, support.lexmark.com.
