846.01 Error when Scanning from Auto Document Feeder (ADF)

What you will see

When making copies from the ADF, the paper jams and a 846.01 Scanner error appears on the printer’s control panel. The printer then reboots automatically after posting the error. 84x.xx; 846.01; scanner jam; paper crumpled;


Note:
This error only appears when using the ADF. Scanning and copying using the flatbed works fine.
