Possible cause

This print defect is possibly caused by a contaminated corona wire.
NOTE:
The corona wire is a component of the charger or charge roller assembly inside the Imaging Unit.

Suggested remedy

The printer has several built-in self-cleaning methods. This includes the corona wire cleaner. It’s important to clean the corona wire after each installation of the maintenance kit, toner cartridge, or waste toner box. The procedure laid out below describes the proper methods for cleaning the corona wire charger.
