Issue Description:
When you insert a flash drive into the USB port of your computer, the Scan and fix message appears.

Solution:
This issue is caused by a flaw in the printer's code and can be resolved by updating the firmware.

Check the printer’s current firmware (FW).
Note: If the firmware is already updated, skip Step 2 and go directly to Step 3.

Update the printer firmware (FW) to xx.032.112 or the latest version available.

Should the issue persist, please refer to the Still need help? section of this article.
Refer to KB Article
xref_HO550_xref for checking and updating the printer firmware.

Explanation:
The Scan and fix message initially appears after the flash drive is used on Lexmark products that were released in the year 2016.
Performing any function (such as Scan to USB and printing from the flash drive) will prompt the message after it is inserted into the printer's USB port.
