Multifunction: XM1140 Lexmark XM1145
When sending fax using a Lexmark XM1145, the recipient may report back to you that the received fax document is blurry or pixilated. See a sample fax printout below:
To rectify this issue, you need to update the printer’s firmware to the latest PE release code (P262 or higher).
Please contact Lexmark Technical Support to acquire the firmware fix.
The Lexmark representative might ask for the printer's current firmware level. Please refer to xref_Check_xref for the steps. Once you obtain the file, you may proceed and update the firmware by following the steps from Badge Reader Does Not Work when Printer Is in Standby and Sleep Mode.
