MVP 11.2: LDAP Configuration or Address Book Configuration Is Not Possible with '09 and '10 MFPs

What you will see

The LDAP configuration (Task) cannot be performed with MVP 11.2. Hence, address book functionality and setup on individual MFPs will not be possible.

The following symptoms will be observed:

  • -Device Incapable of Task message
  • -A visible line through the printer or printserver icon
  • -No configurable LDAP settings appear

Suggested Fix

  1. Download Address_Book_Setup_Fix_MVP_11_2_1 v1.0.zip and extract the file.

  2. Install the plug-in on your MVP server. if you require additional assistance on how to install MVP plug-ins.)

  3. Reboot your MVP server. is you need additional assistance on how to stop and start MVP services.)
