Defect Symptom

One or more of the color planes/images are not aligned to black or the other color planes.

Troubleshooting

  1. Reseat each toner cartridge.

  2. Manually initiate a calibration.For C792: Menu > Settings > Quality > Color AdjustFor X792: Menu > Printer Settings > Quality > Color Adjust

  3. If the printer is set to use compressed print modes (Print Area = "Fit to Page"), change the Print Area Settings to “Normal”. To do this: Menu > Settings > Print Settings > Set up Menu > Print Area > Normal.
