Printer does not Auto Size Sense when copying via flatbed scanner

What you will see

When using the scanner’s Auto-Size Sense feature, the original document does not match the size of the scanned output, which is always on legal-size paper no matter what size of original is put on the flatbed.

NOTE: This issue can be seen when the 'Auto-Size sense' is selected from the scanner workflow and then the flatbed is being used (i.e., Scan to copy, scan to email, and fax).

Recommended diagnosis

In most cases, the mismatch is caused by a timing issue that can be fixed with the new version of scanner firmware code 3.36. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support and reference this article to obtain this firmware fix.
