The maximum fuser count capacity on the Lexmark Service Monitor ( LSM) and MarkVision Enterprise ( MVE) supplies information section displays 120,000 sides. This may also happen on third-party Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) tools utilized for supplies management.

Explanation

The displayed fuser life value for the Lexmark C79x and X79x devices with firmware code levels below .P319 is incorrect. It is important to note that the displayed value does not affect printer fuser operation and expected life value which is 150,000 sides.


NOTE:
" Side" value refers to the number of printed sides on a paper or media; i.e., one sheet of paper can have two sides of printed output.

* An x denotes any number within a given printer series.

Recommended solution

To resolve this concern, the printer’s firmware should be updated with the appropriate PE Release codes for the following models.
