Image repeats down the page, often lighter than the original image.

Recommended troubleshooting

  1. Clear the paper path of any media, staples, or obstructions.

  2. Try printing on recommended media that is dry and fresh out of a ream.

  3. Ghosting can occur when the fuser is running too hot or too cold.

  4. Check the media type and weight: make sure the printer's media Type, Weight, and Texture settings match the type, weight, and texture of the media that's loaded in the printer.

  5. If defect persists, contact Lexmark Technical Support to set up service for the printer.
