Overview
This article lists all the print emulators that Lexmark supports for use with your printer.
Note: The emulators detailed in the tables below are listed in order from the most recommended/compatible at the top, to the least compatible at the bottom. Printer drivers not designed specifically for the 2500 series support most, but not all, of the 2500 series printer capabilities. In addition, the printer driver you select in your application must match the emulation mode you select for your printer.
IBM emulation mode
If the printer is using IBM mode (the factory default setting), select one of the printers below from your application/program.
Note: If your software does not allow you to select one of the printers in this list, you may need to customize your printer for Epson emulation mode. See the second table below.

Using Epson emulation mode
