Step 1

Make sure that the RFID Option cable is plugged into the USB Host Port on the back of the printer.

Does the problem remain?

Go to step 2.

The problem is solved.

Step 2

Make sure that the RFID Option is installed immediately below the base printer and above one or two optional trays.

Does the problem remain?

Go to step 3.

The problem is solved.

Step 3

Turn off the printer, and then turn it on.
