Remove the controller board shield. See Controller board shield removal.
Remove the inner controller board shield. See Inner controller board shield removal.
Remove the left cover. See Left cover removal.
Remove the screw (A) from the ground cable, and then disconnect the ADF cable (B) from the controller board.
Route the cable through the hole on the rear of the controller board cage.
Route the cable to the side of the printer.
Route the cable to the rear of the printer.
Use a flat-head screwdriver to release the tabs on the left and right hinges (C).
Route the ADF cable through the flatbed.
Remove the ADF.
