Vertical dark streaks on output when scanning from the ADF

Step 1

1. Open the scanner cover.



2. Using a damp, soft, lint‑free cloth, wipe the ADF glass and the white underside of the scanner cover.



3. Close the scanner cover.

Do vertical streaks appear on scanned documents?

Go to step 2.

1. Open the ADF cover.



2. Using a damp, soft, lint‑free cloth, wipe the ADF glass and the white underside of the ADF cover.



3. Close the ADF cover.
