Step 1

Make sure that the printer is connected to a network and that the network is connected to the Internet.

Step 2

Make sure that etherFAX is set up correctly.



1. From the home screen, touch Settings > Fax > Fax Setup > General Fax Settings.



2. Make sure that you have the correct fax number.



3. Make sure that Fax Transport is set to etherFAX.

   Notes:

   • This menu shows up only when more than one fax transport is available.
   • If the printer only has etherFAX installed, then it is automatically configured.
