White or gray streaks check

Issue description

The printed or copied images show light streaks following the paper feeding direction.

Solution

Clean the printhead using the wiper.

• Remove the printhead wiper and then clean the printhead lens.

If the issue still appears, replace the imaging unit.

To order the imaging unit, follow these steps:

1. Go to Lexmark.com.



2. Click Supplies & Accessories. In the dropdown menu, click Find Supplies.



3. In the search bar, type the printer model or supplies part number. Click Find my supplies.



4. In the product page, scroll down and look for the Supplies tab.



5. Choose the product to order and Add to Cart.
